Since God created us in His image and likeness, He
knows best where our health is concerned. God heals and brings health in
two major ways, the supernatural way and the natural way. Here is His
natural health FOOD plan. I have personally tried this out for nearly
six years now, and can truly say that I am enjoying good health I never
had before.
Healing and health have always been
God’s will for mankind. “Beloved, I wish above all things that you
prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers”. (3 John 2)
Sickness and disease entered the world through sin.
Today there’s an increase in awareness for health and nutrition. Thanks
to the medical profession, much is spent on research to equip medical
science in dealing with the ever increasing problem of sickness and disease.
Many have received healing and health as a result. We are grateful to
all these Doctors for their dedicated service to suffering humanity, but
at the same time they are limited.
God is the ultimate source for our healing and health. When God created
Adam he was a healthy being. We find no trace of sickness in the Garden
of Eden, before the fall of man, until Adam chose to disobey God.
Sickness and disease entered the human race because of Adam’s sin.
God’s plan for man is that he enjoy health. God has also created us
with a body that has the ability to heal itself. For example, suppose
you cut your foot or finger, immediately every cell in your body begins
to work in harmony to heal the wound and within a few days the cut
disappears. Even after a doctor’s operation on a patient the internal
cut heals by itself.
Healing and health takes place in two major ways,
natural as well as
supernatural. It is important to understand how they work together.
The Natural
In the natural, many things contribute
to the healing process. There are medicines, doctors, exercise,
nutrition, proper amounts of sleep, climate and general good care
(hygiene) for ones physical body. Doctors are God’s servants, whether
they know it or not. Even doctors now admit to a higher power or
whatever they may call Almighty God, who can bring a miracle of healing.
Today, doctors when they have done their best and they cannot go
further, tell us to seek one’s religion for final help.
God expects us to care for our physical body which He has blessed us
with and not neglect it in any way. (Exodus 15:26)
declares, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and
do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all
His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have
brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”.
This promise is conditional. The condition is that we diligently do what
is right in what He says. When we do what is right and what the Bible
tells us to do, we are actually doing what God wants us to do. The word
of God tells us how to live in health and live well.
I have personally seen and heard of great miracles of healing God does
to individuals. But when God touches a person with a miracle, that
individual must not return to the bad habits or whatever has caused the
problem. We must be willing to change our lifestyle and do what is
right, with God’s help.
God has given us a description of
foods that keep us healthy, and
foods that make us sick.
I am very careful in what I eat. It is important for me to eat the right
foods that will make me healthy. It is much better to stay healthy than
being healed.
The Supernatural
It is also possible for us to get sick
where there is no possible cure in the natural, through nutrition or
medicine. When this happens we can trust the Lord, our Healer. This is
where the supernatural takes over and God does what man or any other
thing cannot do. This thrills my heart, to see how our loving heavenly
Father does supernatural miracles and even creative miracles to bring
healing and health to man.
In Mark chapter 5, we see a woman, with an issue of blood who had
suffered for 12 years who tried everything in the natural, spent all her
money on physicians, but had got worse. There was no hope for her in the
natural. She sought help from the supernatural. She heard of the
miracles that Jesus did and faith arose in her heart. She said, “If
only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well”. (Mark 5:28)
She immediately received her miracle when she touched His clothes.
“Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her
body that she was healed of the affliction.” (Mark 5:29)
When everything else fails, take courage, you can come to the one who
can heal and never fails. Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Keys to Receive your Miracle
-
Turn away from those who oppose
miracles.
Surround yourself with faith filled believers who will agree with
you for your miracle. (2 Timothy 3:5)
declares, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof; from such turn away”.
-
Ask In Faith
Take the “if” out of your prayer. “But let him ask in faith,
with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave on the sea driven
and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will
receive anything from the Lord”. (James 1:6-7)
-
Release Your Faith
Remember unbelief stops the flow of miracles (Mark 6:5-6).
The best way to release your faith for the miracle is to go for a
miracle service, believing that you will be healed. “This man
heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he
had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, ‘stand up straight
on your feet!’ And he leaped and walked”. (Acts 14:9-10)
Do not give up on your miracle, remember the supernatural begins
where the natural ends.
Keys to Walk in Supernatural
Health
-
Seek the Healer
Have a strong personal prayer life with our Lord Jesus each day.
“If you abide in Me, and My work abides In you, you shall ask
whatever you desire, and it will be done to you”. (John 15:7).
Then tell the Lord that you desire supernatural health and it will
be granted to you.
-
Serve the Lord
You don’t have to be in the five-fold ministry to serve God. Do
whatever you can – it may be arranging chairs, being an usher,
singing in the choir or giving to the Lord. Do whatever your heart
tells you to do. “So you shall serve the Lord your God and He
will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away
from the midst of you.” (Exodus 23:25)
-
Guard Your Heart
Give God’s word first place in your heart, by obeying, reading
and hearing the word of God. Confess daily God’s promises on healing
and health. “My son, give attention to My words, incline your ear
to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in
the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them,
and health to all their flesh”. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
There will be times when the enemy Satan, will try to attack you
with sickness. Seek God and He will reveal what you should do.
